Ryan Carrier founded ForHumanity after a 25 year career in finance. His global business experience, risk management expertise and unique perspective on how to manage the risk lead him to launch the non-profit entity, ForHumanity, personally. Ryan focused on Independent Audit of AI Systems as one means to mitigate the risk associated with artificial intelligence and began to build the business model associated a first-of-its-kind process for auditing corporate AIs, using a globally, open-source, crowd-sourced process to determine “best-practices”.
Shea's research addresses algorithmic auditing and bias in machine learning, and he serves on several IEEE working groups that set standards for algorithmic bias and organizational governance of artificial intelligence. He has a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Minnesota and is currently a faculty member in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Iowa.
Sri Krishnamurthy, CFA is the Founder and CEO of QuantUniversity. Sri is the creator of QuSandbox, a platform for experimenting analytical and machine learning solutions for enterprises prior to adoption.
Sri earned an MS in Computer Systems Engineering and another MS in Computer Science, both from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
